I agree with you, it's annoying to see servers that aren't even from your country listed in it and the more annoying is that are mostly fake servers, sadly the administration of Gametracker isn't going to force flags and don't allow to modify becouse they made up their mind about it, i agree with why they did it, just don't like it, i hope the administration of the site decides to improve the site.

So... I guess most of you are aware of the problem with fake servers/servers full of bots.

What's up with the admins? Isn't anyone taking care of those servers? There are at least 5 servers in top 50 claimed by a banned user (faraonu2001), but the servers are still there, not even banned from ranking, not the site, just the ranking.

These servers are a problem for us, server owners with REAL servers. My server went from rank ~650 to 3000. Come on GT, you can do better than this.

If any of you got some spare time, please take a few mins and report some servers/users from top 100 at least. This is what I've done in the past 45 minutes because I am sick of them.

The admin has been very unactive lately, he's just a human, he's the only admin on the site that can access the reports, if he took the time to implement the changes that the community has given to prevent fake servers would be great, but yeah, it got flooded of fake servers.

gametracker is full of cs 1.6 fake servers

and i got a NR one of my servers (i have 6-7 players dayly)
and the list is full with fake servers

Gametracker goses verry low

Finally gametracker bans most fake servers.

But there's a lot to do.

We probably still need a bigger Administration, at least for CS 1.6 servers, to prevent this happen again.

I report a lot of servers, happy that i haven't need to report for a few days, i reported quite a few again yesterday (they didn't got banned yet).
If they don't work on a way to prevent the upload of fake servers then is just useless

Of course, prevention tools are really necessary.

They should consider like captcha or limit the number of servers added per day.

Another good option will be the requeriment to approve the server by GT administrators before be added to gametracker list
