Popular VCTF-Map from 2004 converted to ONS.
Here is what i did; Heddick* Node placement well thought, and placed as close to the original spawnlocations. Placed new Playerstarts and Weaponlockers Added new vehicles; Badgers and Paladins. Added TC sign in the alley. And few other things. ![]() Grtz, VK

Thank you for an edit. We've played it today and as I already said, the nodes placement isn't perfect, the battle was mostly focused (stucked) around the 4 middle nodes. More spreaded out fight could be more interesting, for example with a "ladder" link setup from ChainsIsle, but the nodes should be placed on different places. But where? And how to connect them?
Current version (download): ![]() Your ideas? ![]() Shrinked nodes for an interiour use: http://www.filefront.com/17378492/ONS-TheBurbs-Beta5.zip

Shrinked nodes are wormbo's special nodes. I already use that. (look at sektor8 center primary node, it is much higher)
Sad that the vctf spawnlocs doesnt work with ONS gameplay. Suggestions on this are welcome. |

played it for the first time today... took me some time to get it, but i like it so far!
here is what struck me: - when we lost all nodes, the enemy took out our primaries very quickly due to their close spawning points on the roof, at the same time they had 2 goliaths and 2 badgers which literally SPAMMED the nodes and also the core spawnplaces (Godlikesi and Joe_Roccio spawnkilled the shit out of this map)... there has to be better defense --> a roof above core for some avril guys to take down enemy tanks that are too close. - nobody of my team found the garage node! please add a sign or something for the ones that can't look on the map but need lights to guard them. - i am not content with the ladders. takes too much time to get up, I was getting shot over and over again while getting up. please add jumppads here and there to enable the defenders to take down the campers! - also, please add a tunnel from somewhere at red primary to somewhere around blue primary nodes. maybe with a redeemer down there as on ONS-Stonewall. I want more ways to surprise the tank campers from behind! - I also need: -GRENADE LAUNCHERS (missing!!!) -4 spidermines at primaries - this electric fence thingies you used at sektor8 once. by the way could you post a pic of the current laddar-like node setup kenny? it's not quite perfect... we had a comeback after a big struggle though, so it is not bad ![]() other than that the majority liked the map alot! this one is definitely a keeper ^^ ![]() |

New version is uploaded.
I used some of ur idea's. Jumppads in the core room to the roof. Pala changed to stronger Aegis. Manta at base changed to Badger. Mines at primaries and Grenades. Primaries are accesable from roof. Removed badgers in Garage room. New interiors to access roof secondaries Less health nodes. More ways to secondary nodes; 1 minigunturret added to core Lets see what this gives, after this i touch the nodes and other things! Grtz, Kenny |

The changes look fine. I'm not sure about Aegis at core, it's quick, powerful and dangerous for such a small map, EONS Paladin could be a better option, it's faster than the standard Paladin. I don't prefer jumppads here, even in the base the ladders can be used, they look more real.
Original link setup: ![]() And few tips for a better one, some with isolated "outpost" nodes which should be defended by Kamek's Sentinels to prevent spawn killing, some witch independent nodes where some extra weaponry can be placed. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

What should I do to have a closer shield to the central node in the street? ^^
