We already had a map named MassDestruction with a single node in the middle and we already had this map in the first months of the server. Both were removed bacause of balance or playability issues.
I just have an idea: Map without any nodes (but not as silly as this one). Remove all 3 nodes and the structures surrouding them. Connect the cores directly. Remove all the flyers (or defend the base heavily with sentinels to protect it against air attacks). Reduce the turrets. Put some interesting vehicles in both bases, balance them for a dogfight on the large dry lake (including the fast Scorpions). What do you mean? How stupid is it? And who can you do this simple edit? ![]() ![]() ![]()

hmm you really think this'd be a good idea foib?
i can already imagine 2-3 hellbender aligning, shooting everything down that comes flying near, meanwhile a kraken deposits itself behind them, aim's for the core and BOOM... same goes with Ions, Minos, let alone BioTanks... I mean don't get me wrong could be fun, but i doubt the average match on this match exceeds 2-3 minutes! :S ![]() |

It's about the vehicles. Kraken or Mino are probably too strong for that idea, but all other tanks could be usable. Scorpions can attack the base quickly, but it won't be hard destroy them in time. Ion Cannon can be removed or it's fire rate reduced. Without the flyers it could be even more interesting. Just imagine the most insidious weapon: The Stealth Badger.

Was afraif you would want to include those massive Omni-Vehicles, but sounds perfect with the standard ECE stuff plus Stealth- and Hoverbadger! A sneaky EMP Mine could also turn the tides. And how about some pillars / stalagmites in the dry likes where ppl can jumppad onto, avril camping and minelayering a bit and eventually get sniped or ran over by a raptor xD We're getting there =P ![]() |

lol i remember this map.. after u get the middle node and levi it was easy to win the round, spam with levi their base and its done.. i guess that's why foibos removed this map ages ago

And you can increase the Core's health, in case the battles last not long enough with direct access to them. And so the teams have enough time to react before two or three guys go crazy on the core and end the match quickly.
ConstructionTime is all that needs to be changed in the Core's properties, I guess. At least that's how it works for nodes. The default 30 seconds will leave it with 4500 HP, so maybe double that time value and it will double the health? ![]() |

I have been working on this, and created my own view on this map.
> Changed all vehicles > Added turrets > Added extra node (spawning vehicles) > Connected core to eachother > Core health from 30 to 90 > And more things |

Thank you for your effort, but the map is now similar to other standard maps. Could you make a concept for me from your edit? Keep the original core size, remove all vehicles, remove all nodes, remove all structures and the debris around them. I'll try to balance it.
