This video (not mine) explains how to get swbf1 back online after gamespy shut it down. This is also works with COD: Finest Hour, I have cod: fh and it works.

Kewl, but u still can't join pc servers, the patch isn't available anymore. I have this game for the pc. But I would like to play it on the ps2.

The swbf1 community has now developed a patch with openspy that can allow PC bf1 to be played online. Visit swbfgamers.com for info.
