Hi all,
Please help me out in this issue, when i reinstall the CS then for playing the game i usually copy the servers from Gametracker and add them on favorite in CS.

Each time i installed i had to copy and paste by switching windows. Can i find the Server file in the CS folder so that i can make a copy of that file so that i can replace each time when i install new cs for easy addition of the servers in CS favorites.

I do not have the answer to your question - but I can offer a recommendation.

You could consider using GT Lite to manage your favorite servers list. It can sync between GameTracker, and launch CS into a favorite server. You may find this helpful.

The File Name Called As "rev_ServerBrowser.vdf"

If You Are Not A User Of Steam Then You Can Find That File In >

c:\Program Files (x86)\Counter Strike 1.6\config\"rev_ServerBrowser.vdf"

If You Are Using Steam Then It Can Be Located In

c:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\counter strike 1.6\config\"rev_ServerBrowser.vdf"

Make Sure That This File Has Read & Write Permission Otherwise Your Favorite Servers Will Not Save I Think.

hey arsumayari , first go to the folder where you installed cs open it then copy the folder name "cstrike" then put it in rar file and save it , when you reinstall cs again go replace the new cstrike folder with the old one after that you don't need to add servers or download skins again.
