^SourceOP's server has been rank #1 for over a month and just recently it seems on gametracker to not be going over 14 players. This information is being incorrectly reported as the server is still 33/33 most of the day.

Hello All,

I noticed the same thing on our server as well. Yesterday we had a couple of times when we were at full capacity and Gametrackers does not reflect it in either the 24 hour history of the weekly history.

I only noticed this because we're having problems with frequent crashes after our server hits full capacity.

Thanks!

Gametrackers,

What seems to be the problem with reporting accurately the number of players on a server at a certain time???

We were at 40/40 most of the late afternoon and evening and yet Gametrackers never even shows us getting close to full capacity yesterday? Can anyone help to explain this please??

As of 10/21/2014 Gametrackers is still not accurately tracking population on servers. Our server was at full capacity (40/40) for 2 hours and 11 minutes last night and GT only shows us hitting ~34 players for a brief minute or so.

Is this an issue for anyone else??

Thanks,

Gametrackers is STILL not accurately tracker server numbers on our server. I've been recording numbers for the last week and a half and we've had several times when we have been at 40/40 for hours and GT does not even showing us going above 34.

What's up with this GT????

GameTracker is reporting your players correctly based on what the server is responding in the query response.

@mindreaper4 - the graph displays averages. For every scan over the time period, GT will take an average and list that on the graph. You likely had a bit of fluctuation that caused it to be lower than your max.

Burn,

I understand the reporting but when the server was full for almost 90 minutes and GT doesn't even show us getting above 34, average or not, it's not reporting correctly.

That being said, i did have a ticket in with Vilayer about our servers literally taking 15+ minutes on scheduled restarts. They ran diagnostics (10/24/14) and supposedly "fixed the issue" but they haven't told me exactly what the issue was that was corrected. I don't know whether or not that would affect GT but i will keep an eye on it for the next couple of days and see if GT starts reporting correctly.

Thanks,

If a server was down for, say, 1/4 of an hour, it would affect the hourly average. It wouldn't necessarily affect it by 1/4 of the actual though.
