Hello,
So me and some friends installed CS 1.6, and we have been trying to play on a same server together for weeks now, but we are having trouble setting up a private server, we tried port forwarding,
and pretty much everything else thats possible but the server still never shows up on the list and if they try to connect to it using the ip that i give them it says failed to connect to server,we also seem to not be able to see the same servers as eachother in the public server list for some reason,even though we installed the same game from the exact same place as eachother.
We are pretty new to the game and theres a possibility that we may be doing something wrong but we have no idea.
Can somebody please help on how to set up a server?

i suggest you buy a hosted virtual private server and install the hlds or rehlds in that . it will be best since if suppose you close your PC/Laptop the the Cs server is also closed.

Since port forwarding is an issue always to be a concerned.
