General: Enable HTTPS connections

Hello there,
i am running a secured page via https and if i set the IFrame source to

it works for firefox (with a warning for mixed content) since the link above gets redirected on your server to

-> Note the connection type changed from https to http!
This causes chrome to block the frame completly and this issue could be easily solved by not forcing http through the .htaccess file but rather allow both connection types.

cheers

P.S. if needed i will post a demo page that demonstrates this issue

It is not possible to reach the game server banner with https from our own site and gives warning to visitors. As google will rank ssl/tls enabled sites higher it would be good if you could issue a trusted SSL cert.

+1.

We have just moved our website to SSL and as a result the GameTracker browser for our TS3 server no longer functions - being blocked by both Firefox and Chrome.

Please provide a way to embed the tracker using SSL.

Chrome will actually start indicating that non-SSL sites are a security risk in 2015.

EDIT: I see 800+ views of this thread. C'mon folks, register an account and add +1 to this thread!

I think it comes down to 1 reason:

SSL puts more strain on a web server which could mean they need more of them which also increases expenses.

The strain on the server is marginal. That point is old and was only valid years ago when the overal performance of servers was way lower than today.

Google for example said that they didn't needed new servers when they switched over various of their services to HTTPS.

same here, with our new clan page we are no longer able to embed the iframes, which makes me really sad. Would be glad to see some progress on this topic!
