All the server stats are gone, the previous link to the server on GT is gone.. My website banner says 'Server not found in the
GameTracker Database'

Is this down to the maintenance and will it be fixed ? or.. Will I have to reclaim the server and change my site banner and forum posts ?

At the time of our problem I never noticed any announcement about database problems at the top of the page - to be fair and honest, that notice doesn't exactly jump out at you to say there is a MAJOR issue does it ? GT really need to get on top of this stuff and find out a better way of letting people know when there's a major problem that ultimately affects them and their servers, rankings, stats etc..

But, right now all I want is our original server stats to be re-instated - you can imagine that our clan members are currently pi**ed off that they've put in so much time to get ranked where they are - and now it's all gone - that's definitely not fair on them, so I'm hoping that GT can appreciate this and make an effort to show some empathy to everyone about this. So far, our stats are still at zero.. zilch.. nothing. Is there anything that GT can do to re-instate our stats.. PLEASE ?

*Note - one of our servers was ranked in the top 30 - and now if you look HERE where is our ranking now.. it's completely vanished ? So how do you think we and many other server owners feel ??

To those who have not read the full thread or original post:

There is still backed up data that is being restored, but so far there has been quite a bit restored. As another user mentioned, while an admin couple simply restore a previous backup, that's not necessarily the best option. GT was live during the failure and for a short while after that, so there is a lot of conflicting data.

Like I have mentioned, doing a global reset in rank will cause havoc in the ranking system. Current ranks should re-normalize within the next week with the current route, so that is not much time at all and the best option available. I also mentioned a few times that development is trying to accelerate the system so the re-added servers can get their rank back even quicker.

As many of you noticed, GT is doing something. If GT was not doing anything, there would be a massive number of servers vanished from GT, which is obviously not the case anymore. Many servers have been restored, but there is still the problem that the backups were not exactly up to the point of database failure and that a small portion of the backups will remain unrecoverable.

In summary: GT is doing everything possible to rectify and restore the site after the failure.

Can they restore our server stats? And Playerstats ...

I had all my servers wiped out from GameTracker during the initial phase of the database issues. Some of them were below the 300s rank on CS 1.6. Since then the servers were re-added on their own with the exception of one server that i re-added myself but none have had their ranks go back to their previous ranks. I have also claimed all of my servers again which I hope will help a bit. My clan page last night was not working, giving me an error every time I tried to enter the page saying that the "Team" i have chosen is not in the database. Just now when I checked, it is back up.

So for all of you that think nothing is being done, they are working to get it all back up as close as possible to what you had before. We just all just need to wait patiently and hopefully as burn said, it will all normalize. Thank you for replying to all those who have went crazy and thanks for all the hard work you guys do.

ive worked for almost a year in my servers to get my rank to # 1 in our server.if i lose it OH FRIGGIN WELL, ill just have to play at it some more to get it back.

So that means, all the people joining my server now and before the "screwing around started", will not get calculated into my server rank, when it gets back to normal again?

Or maybe I misunderstodd?
