My server rank is reset
If you re-added your server during the downtime, your rank will be recalculated. If your server is still as popular as it was, it will be close to its previous rank in roughly a week as usual.

Ok. My server was restored with with rank 28 but as Alien Swarm. I reclaim it back to mine and change it to team fortress 2 as it supposed to be and rank dissapeared :|

And here is the rest of my servers that are still tracked as alien swarm and I'm afraid to claim and change it to TF2 becouse I think that it will reset too :/

y same happend to me too, my server starts with no rank now
ADMIN the GT also recalculate the rank if i changed the gametype manualy?

Why the hell you wrote this? Now after my manual change game it reset my rank! You should wrote that if we change game it will reset rank. This is really not fair to us!

Are you seriously telling me that we all lost our fkn rank on all of our servers, the whole purpose of gametracker is to track server ranks and players stats and YOU LOST EVERYONES!! are you serious? What a joke this place is. Have you ever heard of a back up jesus christ, i wont advertise for gametracker ever again, i wonder what gameservers has to say about this little misshap. Hello, i had a server so had around 300th rank Counter strike 1.6 And now my server have 46000th. My forum dropped down in the ranking, because of gsmetracker and is this possible to get back the same position. www.cs-mordownia.pl greeting.

This means that GT will calculate your rank based on the data it has. As implied, server ranks will normalize by about a week from now, which is pretty quick. A good portion of rank is determined from activity in this time period.

Development will try to accelerate this short period so everything is normalized more quickly.

It is for this reason that the majority of stats were restored. Your questions can be answered in my original post.

Changing your game type has always reset rank and that is why it clearly indicates this when you try to do that. As you have read, ranks will normalize quickly.

Yeah. But that doesn't answer my question. Will removing my server from the list make it more possible to restore more data than now after re-adding it.

If there is a slight chance to restore more date after removing then I will remove it and wait that 48h for a backup.

FYI: Restoring = recovering data

You should close this site for 24h and restore everything again and after that open this site. Becouse it is unfair for example some servers were restored 12h ago and have now 12h more time with players...

Im right. that what you wrote means that i reseted my server by my selfe cause i changed the gametype back? and there is no way to recalculate my rank in next few hour? so it was my fail now that my server is on last rank now? no way?
