not scanning

This issue with my server has been going on for 3 months now and it still keeps happening. The server has not scanned in over 8 hours now. Can someone fix this and respond to me please.

Is there any way to make a "scan now" button for server owners in the manage section? And have it so it can only be done once every 5 minutes or so.

Same thing happened last week, and i believe a week before that.

is there anything we can do to help gametracker.com out in ensuring accurate server polling takes place?

i'm sure you can understand our frustrations as we're all striving to be the best.

The only reason why we are so frustrated is because this has been happening to my server since July 31st, which is a really long time ago. And every time it happens, we lose over 20 ranks when we should have been #1 since July 31st.

its true. we actively strive to keep our server full to get there, but constant monitoring interruptions are just frustrating ..

is there ANYTHING we can do to help?

There was an outage on one of our back end servers recently. That server has been repaired. Servers should be scanning normally now.

Posting in this forum with a link to your server is the easiest way for us to track down server issues. Recently, due to a major upgrade, it has taken us longer to track down and fix issues. We should be able to process bug reports on something closer to our normal schedule going forward.

A "scan now" feature has been suggested before. It's a low priority issue at the moment.

is our main concern.

any recent downtime since thursday of last week is off, i've been playing pretty much non stop and can verify we've had easily a 31+ average. we've 0 had downtime issues since then as well.

and like he said this has been happening on and off since july

glad to hear you guys have fixed some issues. is there anything we can do to help?

I don't think so.

I have an idea of what the problem may be (internal) and will look into this as soon as there is time.
