Seriously guys stop the bitching.

Things go wrong from time to time. Big deal. I run an online gaming community too and i only back things up once a month. Wait the time period stated by burn and see what happens. Worst case you lose an online game ranking? WOW! If your servers are popular enough, they will shoot up the rankings again.

On this note, my servers still are not there, but im waiting patiently for GT to try and restore it all. If they can't, oh well I will readd them and be on my way to rank them up again.

Cheers, L33t_Of_Lag.

Well I see my server is showing....

However, it's from earlier this year! It was moved back in March to a different IP. I mean seriously, do you guys only do backup once a year?

This was the old server which seems to be restored despite the fact that I had removed it when the IP changed.

The current one that was supposed to be restored is this:

Anyhow, it's time to say adios to GT. I don't really care about my server ranking anymore. It stays full pretty much round the clock anyway.

Thanks for providing a free service but I don't need it anymore.

Hello,

No backups are not from a year ago, though I am not sure if development is using older backups in order to restore some of the small portion that could not be recovered.

We wish you the best.

You may not have checked the list since the initial incident. Daily ranks updates have not been calculated yet, and you can see top servers in the list. It is not missing many numbers. For example:
http://www.gametracker.com/search/tf2/?searchipp=50#search
http://www.gametracker.com/search/blackops/?

I've also responded to the "global website reset" in a previous post, if you have a chance to read it. Whenever you can spare a minute, feel free to take a look. To summarize the response, "no." That would exponentially increase the problem. Resetting everything would make the entire list hectic for the next month, while the current route would make ranks stabilize by a week from now.

LOL..this server has gone from 91% ------> -2% Now really, a negative 2?

I know UT2004 is not a priority with gametracker but at least put them in 1%.

I'm guessing this is just an issue with the number of servers being different in the database due to the recent issues. It should update properly when the counts are resynchonized and rank updated.
