The council:
Boris picks like 5 or 6 other members that he trusts and who he thinks have good ideas etc. but mostly who he trusts, because that is important in a council. But BORIS decides this, because otherwise you can not make a council. Boris you have to realise that you are the founder and someone has to make the decision whether someone is in the council or not. So that's i guess how that'S gonna work. The tag: You have to have a tag that is similar to the [S*S] tag, because otherwise people will not recognize it as 1 team. So, the problem with name shortage, ehmm we have: [S*S]-Deathshadow(US) and thats the limit of characters. So if Deathshadow would be an elite (im not saying he will be) it would be better to say: [E*S*S]Deathshadow(US), so we all just leave the hyphens, and not just deathshadow, but all the elites, so it will be the same for all elites. I think that is the best solution, but then again, I'm the one coming up with ideas, not making the decisions ![]() Good luck y'all and I'll keep in touch, Tomorrow morning I'll be heading home again, I'll be online on skype the next day, so wednesday. pretty much going on here.
i agree with both of you, boris and gunny. in a democracy, as boris would like to see the clan, it is important to have a political organ that watches over the people. so the council has to be founded by the clan founder (boris ![]() ![]() about the tag: how about we take care of the counicl and the organisation of the clan first and worry about the tags later on? in my opinion it is not that important which rank someone has but how much effort he or she brings in the clan and the clan work. i'm really looking forward to the future of S*S! bye [S*S]-Frontschwein(GE) |

Hi all,
I am very excited because the general idea had a great accept, and there is a lot of participation with good ideas and work will. Well, I think it is the best choice right now. To form a council of six members and I will work as a President, who could be elected, or changed, or removed, or etc... by the council. So in a future, maybe the President could be another principal member, and like that in a rotative way. Ok, but now. How do I choose the Council Members? I really want time to make that election. Please be patient to publish the names. But Keep posting here the ideas about all the topics we still need to deal. --- And another thing: "[S*S]DeathShadow(US)" without the hyphen, and without E* is the limited number of characters, I mean: 20 char. --- Bye, [S*S]-boris(EC) |

Hi Everybody,
The council should initially be chosen by boris. Then after say 3 months(once the Clan has gotten accustomed to the changes) have it be open to elections. Though I think Boris should be a permanent member. None of us would be here if it weren't for him after all. Heres another thought, If any members who have the extra funds available and wish to host a server. they should be allowed a seat on the council. I know it would be like buying a seat. but those members that did it would have the interest of the clan in mind. I Like the Tag (ESS) Later, [S*S]-TJ(US) |

Good idea about funding the server tj. I'm pretty sure that whoever puts their money into renting the server definitely has the interest of the clan at heart, so giving them a seat on the council is reasonable.
Fresh and I have done our best to figure out how to get a server started manually, but we really need a tech expert's help if we want that to happen. I do have a couple questions about the server though. Do we want it to be a private server (for SS only and requires a password) or public (everyone)? Also, how many slots should it have (max number of players at one time)? I like the idea of putting ranks on our tags, but then again, with long names (like mine) there's no way they would fit. One suggestion would be to replace the country abbreviations for rank tags. It's nice to know where the player is from, but after the first or second time you play with them, you've already got that down. There's no need to have it always a part of the name. Now I don't know about everyone else, but I think rank is more important info to put in a name than country. Also, I think we should set up a better system for determining rank. Maybe hold 1 vs. 1 or 2 vs. 2 tournaments to determine skill. All of this would of course have to wait until the council is formed and the server's running. Great ideas everyone! I'm excited to see what S*S will become. Happy fraggin' [S*S]DeathShadow(US) |

okay, I think we shouldnt let someone buy a server, but maybe wait with that, because we also are a SECRET society, maybe just keep playing beatdown and when the clan is fully ready, with council and all that, we could choose some more. Because hosting a serv is expesnive, you gotta buy every month, i already did some research.
Summarry: wait with an own server till we got things straightened out Council: Boris decides, no elections. Tags: No country is fine with me, shortens the characters and enables the tag [E*S*S]. AND I AM BACK FROM VACATION! SO ILL BE ON SKYPE AND IN URT !! ![]() Take care, and keep in touch //Gunny |

Hi bros,
--- Maybe you want to talk with uncreative.name: The owner of Beatdown Alley IV. He opened a thread in the General Discussion Section and you can contact with him personally if you wish: http://www.gametracker.com/clan/ss-ss/forum.php?thread=14742 --- The idea of [E*S*S] had a good acceptation ( just personally I dont like the tag because it is too long, hehe ![]() --- I also think that ranks could be decided by another methods not only because the rank in Beatdown, but like we dont have a server to make the battles the initial idea was to work with our loved Server Beatdown Alley IV. Another thing that I was going to do in next days is an Intern Championship, with all the members. That would help to determine in real-time, our personal skills and aptitudes. Maybe we can found the Elite Team in this way, and it would help to transport us to the Team Survivor World and Team Training and Strategies Plans. But this idea was postponed until the creation of the Council, CLAN RULES AND GUIDELINES, and Application System. --- Please, continue with the posts because it is very exciting to see Secret*Society growing up. Bye bros, [S*S]-boris(EC)

Just an update on the server situation. A friend and I got a successful test of the server! So for all purposes [S*S] has access to a server. The server is not on all the time, it must be loaded from my computer. So if any members see me online and want to use the server, just ask and I will set it up for you. Another big step in the progression of the clan. Lets keep it rolling guys.
