reason for ban: name, ignoring admin telling them to change their name

I gave him a 2 week ban. Let me know if you want anything different. (Were you not able to ban from the server?)

i tried remotely but it kept giving me an error because my game crashed and wouldnt restart. informed him again through hlsw using hint box, chat box and all that to change his name. so i just kicked him and posted here.

and 2 week is fine. 1 week per offense is my normal style anyway

Also, don't forget about "sm_rename", which is what is used through console/rcon when you are not ingame with access to the admin menu.

In this case you could have done "sm_rename ====" and it should have scrambled his name as long as no one else has "====" in their name at that time. I actually use the rename command as the first warning, they normally get the idea and either do the right thing or show defiance. At that point, you'll know what to do.

i forgot all about that. but i was also told through pm from a person in the game the person was laughing about it saying f that and crap like that. so i feel no remorse in this particular case. but i will remember the rename for the future.
