Hey zooter, I'm a regular on your SGC #57 idle server. I change my name a lot and I got banned for no apparent reason, which really upsets me. I have absolutely no idea why I was banned, I assume it was an accident because I wasn't even on the server when I got banned. One day (or today, I guess) I just tried to connect and it said I was banned. soooo yeah, I would appreciate an unban. Right now, my steam name is Beluga Stampede. if you want to respond to me, I would appreciate you messaging me through steam. Thanks in advance!

Also, my friend Tatertots told me that you banned me for 'changing my crosshair color frequently' and I have absolutely no idea how that is a bannable offense nor do I remember changing my crosshair color. I don't remember reading it in the rules that you would be banned for hacking for changing the color...
the only thing I can think of is a script that I have that reduces field of view and erases viewmodels when I press the button. Is that counted as cheating? I'll get rid of it if I would be allowed back on the server. thanks in advance, and Zooter why did you block me on steam? .__.

I banned you because you were changing your crosshair color roughly 3 times per second for a span of several hours. Not only is that an indicator of questionable behavior, but there was a hacker in the server at almost exactly the same time. Now if you think it's fun trying to sift through 55 pages of a log file watching you change your crosshair color 3 times a second, then I have a bag of hammers I would like to introduce you to.

I will consider unbanning you if you don't run any kind of scripts while you're in my server. I don't want to have to make something that will ban people automatically for that behavior.

Well, I already tried deleting all my scripts, then the TF2 move-all-the-files update happened, so if they aren't all gone, I don't know how to fix it. It must have been a glitch with the logs or something because I didn't change my crosshair color that quickly nor do I know how. Anyway, I hope the glitch or whatever is fixed, and if it isn't, I don't know how to fix it. I ask once more for an unban with the promise to do no intentional harm, and if it happens again, I apologize in advance. SGC #57 is pretty much the only server I ever even play on so it would be terrible if I couldn't access it any more. Thanks again for considering this, and my last question is: Why did you block me on steam? Still didn't answer me on that :p

I didn't block you on steam, I just didn't accept your friend request. I get at least one request a day from people I don't know, so I don't accept them unless I know the person. If you keep changing your name 3 times a week, I won't know who you are anyway and won't accept a friend request from you.
I unbanned you, don't make me regret doing it.

Thanks. Just to be completely sure nothing like this will happen again, I'm reinstalling tf2. Also, sorry about the block-accusation. I just thought you blocked me because I didn't see you on my friends list any more, I couldn't post on your wall, and I couldn't add you again without an error message. Sorry.

re-installing might not help, check your cfg files, especially your autoexec.cfg file.
