Hey all,

As you may have noticed the servermasters that quake3 inbuilt browser use for tracking servers is down.

I don't work at ID-Software so I dunno if this is temporary measure or not... Well quake 3 is old so it may be permanent

Good news is that there are other servers that some other server browser use to track quake 3 servers.

Gametracker is one of the 3rd party server browser, and use lot of tracking servers .

I propose here another one, free, and that includes a server browser + a friend tracking tool device ( So you can know if and where you friends are playing )

I've made a small tutorial , it is really easy to install and doesnt require much PC-skills.

I wont link for the software so just use your friend Google to find it : Qtracker.

not to steal the thread but wanted to give a quick tip. couldn't find anywhere else to post it. if you have the problem of not being able to play for the first part of the match right after the map loads, just hit taunt till your free floating and then you can just click right away to join the game.
