Hi guys.. just to say thx for turning up and for the scrim opportunity over the last 2 Sundays.
A couple of points.. Start times - scrim time was set for 3pm EST but some people were pushing to start early for some unknown reason - maybe some didn't know what the agreed start time was? If start time is agreed by both clans for 3pm EST, then that's what time we all start.. appreciate that some team members aren't able to turn up until a few minutes before (work or whatever), so pushing to start early doesn't make sense at all. Re. lag... some were complaining of lag - appreciate it's always a problem when playing away from your own server - but LTD2 experienced the same thing in the 1st scrim on RDA's Halo server and we also suffered from very high pings.. it's understandable and we all just have to deal with it the best way we can - lag will always be a problem in Halo PC as it's such an old game now - even M$ have dropped support for it ! Anyway.. just to say good game and we had fun. Scrim results and breakdown can be viewed by going HERE. Thx again YAS.. and also for the scrim challenge.. we enjoyed it and had FUN! LTD2-Perico |

Echo Perico's comments entirely.
We always suffer severe lag when on scrims with US servers as most of us are based in Europe. Lag is a problem, we accept it. Prior to scrims, we go on opponents foreign servers to see what ping and lag problems we may have, so we know in advance what to expect. So we don't complain in middle of scrim as we already know what to expect, advise you guys to do the same. The balance is in the way the scrims are set up .... home & away. You play home on first leg (you have the advantage and we have to suffer) and return match you are away (and we have the advantage and you have to suffer) i.e. balanced scrim Good gaming with you guys ! ![]()
