Well, something we all worry about is reducing ping online...so, I will write about a few things and keep adding a string till we have captured most of the items.
A) Always update your network adapter's (LAN) drivers! Important! ![]() B) Get rid off/reduce the number of unwanted applications running in the background. C) For Win 7 users: Go to Control Panel, Go to Programs and Features, Click on 'Turn Windows Features On or Off', Click only once on 'Microsoft Message Queue (MSMQ) server', Let the system restart D) Download and install the Leatrix Latency patch fix to improve multiplayer gaming: http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/dl.php?s=53e3a39eda6a379d565ae62a78e0a05d&id=13581 E) Reduce crazy packet loss and/or lag spikes (Windows 7+ users): * Open regedit * Go to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Multimedia\SystemProfile * There will be an entry for network performance throttling, default value is 10; set it to 'ffffffff' hexadecimal (it will look like '0xFFFFFFFF' to the right of the entry in the registry) * Close the Registry * Reboot
